I read the reviews for these shoes and was very excited to get them. Based on the reviews they sounded like walking on clouds on some user put it. So when they arrived I was super excited to try them out.I have several pairs of clog type shoes most in Merrell or Keen brands so heavier shoes. i was looking for a lighter pair and for that they fit the bill. However I think they are a bit too thin. The material is very light/thin almost to the point where I won't wear them until spring time which is a shame. The shoe feels ok on my foot. It is light but the arch support is not there. I guess I am use to ones with better support inserts that these were just well flat. The soles are very light and thin, so there is not much impact. I am not running in them or anything but I feel like if I had to jump I would feel the entire impact in my foot.I have sesnoiditis and have a pretty bad bunion on the same foot. I have to wear comfy shoes at all times with good support. These shoes fit the comfy part to a T. However the support is lacking so much that I can only wear them for short periods of time.I would suggest them only to people that do not require a lot of arch support.I have other clogs but these are my favorites. They are not too high. They stay on without being sloppy. I can wear them barefoot or with socks. The insoles are removable. Be aware, though, that this newer model of these Aetrex shoes does not contain the Mozaic insole. I thought that would be a problem, but since the tops of these are a stretchy cushioned material I don't feel the need to adjust the insole as much. I usually get wides but did not get them this time. I really should have - so the fit is true to size but the stretch in the body of the clog is forgiving. I will buy these again.I enjoy these lightweight and comfy clogs—tho' they fit more like mules because the heel has a bit of a lip, unlike a true clog. The top is a very forgiving but sturdy fabric, so no rubbing on tops of toes (or my pesky bunions). And I like that the innersole is removable for easy washing, since I don't wear socks with these shoes. If you do plan to wear socks, even a thin one, go up 1 size. These are a size 9, with not a smidge to spare. The fabric doesn't seem to breathe, however, making my feet hot and sweaty in warm weather. I've started sprinkling with a little powder before sliding into them.I have extremely high arches and have developed both plantar fasciitis and metatarsalgia. I stumbled upon this brand in a local store and the arch support feels like it was custom molded to my feet. I use these clogs as slippers and they are the 3rd pair Aetrex shoes I've bought in 1 month. I usually only buy 1-2 pairs of shoes/year but, yes, my feet like them that much. Because my arches are so high, the top was a little tight, but has stretched with wearing. Getting them for $10 cheaper on Amazon was a bonus!i'm wearing my second pair of clogs, as they are sized very large and i had to return and size down. they are sooo comfortable and lightweight, that i could almost wear them as slippers. they are flexible and appear to be able to withstand ice. some synthetic soles become rigid on ice. i gave it 4 stars, as i don't think that they are sized correctly and the upper material is very shiny. i feel like i'm wearing satin. bet that they would look great in suede. These are a clunky, comfy shoe. If you want something tapered and elegant, look elsewhere. They are very casual and wide. I'm a pretty standard size 6M, which is what I ordered. But I would have been fine with a 5.5M, or even a narrow. If you are on the heavier side, pregnant, or suffer from swollen feet, your normal size should be fine. I will probably keep them, but I doubt if I will order another pair.I consistently wear a 41 in European sizing. But this shoe is about 1/2 a size short. So I'll go up 1/2 size from now on which will probably take me to a 42 sine their sizing is so odd. I am a Birkenstock convert simply because podiatrist said no more hard soles, only very soft now. I actually forget I have shoes on! My go-to s hoe from now on.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0042F7I22/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_imgSO I WAS DISAPPOINTED, I AM GOING ON A TRIP AND WANTED A COMfoRTABLE PAIR OF BLACK BUT NOW I GOTTA SEND THIS BACK AND EITHER PAY 15% FOR "RESTOCKING" OR EXCHANGE. SWELL! I tried them on again and made them work. I like them fine now and they were just not as big and the other pair I bought but they are fine. And I did not have to pay the return fee!
